Insurance Information

To begin, it is important to exchange insurance information if multiple people are involved. Before an accident, Be aware of what your insurance will cover and what deductible you have so that you can be prepared. Additionally, your insurance may provide towing and rental services. Take the time to thoroughly examine your policies ahead of time so that there are no surprises in the midst of an already stressful moment. At the time of the accident, call your insurance company; the majority of companies provide 24-hour service.

Filing a claim

The next step is to file a claim with your insurance provider. When you give them a call, give them your information as well as any accident documentation. Lastly, explain to them the situation that happened so that they can understand from your perspective.
